Rocket League’s Tournaments Update is expected to arrive this Tuesday and it’s going to make it easier than ever to compete with your friends. The update is streamlining the tournament creation process, but there are some exclusive optimizations coming to the Nintendo Switch version as well.

The patch gives players more control in creating and joining their own tournaments directly within the game. You can restrict entry to the tournaments to keep things private, set minimum and maximum ranks, and more. The big tournament changes come with some smaller quality of life fixes, too, including improved resource management, and connection quality indicators.

 THE MICE summoned a council to decide how they might best devise means of warning themselves of the approach of their great enemy the Cat. Among the many plans suggested, the one that found most favor was the proposal to tie a bell to the neck of the Cat, so that the Mice, being warned by the sound of the tinkling, might run away and hide themselves in their holes at his approach. But when the Mice further debated who among them should thus "bell the Cat," there was no one found to do it.
We hope you all had an excellent weekend and, if you live in the UK, you managed to avoid getting hit by lightning. "Leslie went one night and the Fiske-man got right after her--oh, he was especially anxious about the souls of the nice-looking girls, believe me!--and he hurt her feelings so she never went again. And then he prayed every night after that, right in public, that the Lord would soften her hard heart. Finally I went to Mr. Leavitt, our minister then, and told him if he didn't make Fiske stop that I'd just rise up the next night and throw my hymn book at him when he mentioned that `beautiful but unrepentant young woman.' I'd have done it too, believe ME. Mr. Leavitt did put a stop to it, but Fiske kept on with his meetings until Charley Douglas put an end to his career in the Glen. Mrs. Charley had been out in California all winter. She'd been real melancholy in the fall--religious melancholy--it ran in her family. Her father worried so much over believing that he had committed the unpardonable sin that he died in the asylum. So when Rose Douglas got that way Charley packed her off to visit her sister in Los Angeles. She got perfectly well and came home just when the Fiske revival was in full swing. She stepped off the train at the Glen, real smiling and chipper, and the first thing she saw staring her in the face on the black, gable-end of the freight shed, was the question, in big white letters, two feet high, `Whither goest thou--to heaven or hell?' That had been one of Fiske's ideas, and he had got Henry Hammond to paint it. Rose just gave a shriek and fainted; and when they got her home she was worse than ever. Charley Douglas went to Mr. Leavitt and told him that every Douglas would leave the church if Fiske was kept there any longer. Mr. Leavitt had to give in, for the Douglases paid half his salary, so Fiske departed, and we had to depend on our Bibles once more for instructions on how to get to heaven. After he was gone Mr. Leavitt found out he was just a masquerading Methodist, and he felt pretty sick, believe ME. Mr. Leavitt fell short in some ways, but he was a good, sound Presbyterian."

 &#;
Chaos Rings III is a great RPG. It looks good, plays great but it was also quite broken when it came out. Square Enix is known for not supporting their games well, especially when software updates break games all the time.

Well Chaos Rings III had a pesky bug since September of last year which made it impossible to load a save game unless you were in airplane mode.

Well today Square released an update that finally fixes that and makes the game fully compatible with iOS 9. Let's hope iOS 10 won't break everything up again.

It's still a bit disappointing that a fix for a $20 game took that long to come out but hey, at least it's here.

 &#;
I'd love to say I have the exact release date of Animal Crossing Pocket Camp, but I think we'll have to wait another couple of weeks to find that out. Until then, let's have a think shall we?

 Where neither party is nor true nor kind.
Kobojo has announced that Zodiac: Orcanon Odyssey, its online turn-based RPG, will be coming out for iOS in October.

In preparation, Kobojo has launched a new website that outlines the game's story, and that will be updated once a week with new character details.

There's also a new trailer that you can watch below to find out what you'll be getting yourself into.

Many of the resources needed to create components for high end technology are called "rare earth minerals", which are found in very few places around the world. Most of them happen to be located in developing nations, and gathered by people in working conditions that are appalling. In this situation these materials are often called "conflict minerals".

We're talking about terrible dictators using armed soldiers to force children to clamber down unsafe holes in the ground to scrape out Tantalum (a vital component of mobiles), and using the funds received from selling the materials to continue a genocide that they're currently waging.

In a lot of ways, you and I are supporting these dictators by buying mobile phones from companies that use the minerals from these awful sources.

Enter Fairphone.

Fairphone is an initiative I really really love.

It's a company that is currently making the equivalent of a Fairtrade smartphone, where buyers can understand the whole process of where materials for the device are sourced, and how the phone is made. And if you read the paragraphs above, hopefully you should be thinking, like I do, that these are very important issues indeed.

Fairphone has just opened pre-orders on its new device, the Fairphone 2.

Now you might be worried that a device made in these socially conscious conditions would be made of hemp and good intentions, but the device Fairphone put out last year - which sold 60,000 units - was awesome, a serious piece of kit, and Fairphone 2 looks to be even better.

In terms of specs it's at the lower end of top tier, which will be more than enough to smash the pants off of any current game you care to chuck at it.

It runs Android Lollipop on a Snapdragon 801, Quad-Core 2.26 GHz Qualcomm Krait 400, with a Qualcomm Adreno 330 GPU 578 Mhz for its GPU. There's 2 GB of LPDDR3 RAM running at 931 Mhz, plus 32GB eMMC5 flash storage with the option for more via Micro SD.

The screen is 5 inches, made of Gorilla Glass 3, and pumps out a resolution of 1080 x 1920 at 446 ppi, plus there's an 8MP camera with CMOS Sensor and flash on the rear, a 2MP cam with CMOS Sensor on the front, and all the usual connectivity niceties (4G, WLAN, Bluetooth, GPS, FM Radio, and Dual-SIM).

The phone will also have custom accessories available, plus spare parts and a modular build system for increased mechanical longevity and inexpensive repairs should the worst happen.
